MV Endeavour Express |
|
Our original vessel is the Endeavour Express, she has been operating for this company since 1994. She has a long association with Endeavour Inlet. Originally named the Punga-Tere she was specifically designed for passenger transport to the outer Sound and was built on the beach at Punga Cove Resort. Some of the Kauri of which she is built was salvaged from the old church at the head of Endeavour Inlet (Miners Camp area). These days Endeavour Express is powered by a high performance diesel engine and has a full complement of modern safety equipment. Endeavour Express is licensed to carry 15 passengers.
